Development Plan Documents (DPDs) - Planning Status

There are 5 DPDs currently proposed in the Council's Local Development Scheme (LDS) in addition to the Proposal Map DPD.These are:

• Core Strategy
• Barrow Port Area Action Plan
• Town Centre Area Action Plan - no documents to view at present
• Site Allocations - no documents to view at present
• General Policies for the Control of Development - no documents to view at present
• Proposals Map - no documents to view at present

The Barrow Port Area Action Plan:

The Barrow Port Area Action Plan - Development Plan Document (DPD) is the first DPD to be progressed by the Council as part of the LDF.

Copies of the documents may also be viewed below, or at Barrow Town Hall, the Central Housing Office at Cavendish House on Duke Street, Barrow, and at all public libraries in the Borough.
